Target to Stop Price Matching on July 28

Target is ending its popular Price Matching policy saying it will no longer match prices from competitors such as Amazon and Walmart.

Target says that it is updating its Price Match policy to “reflect guest feedback”. The company says that since most price matches happen within Target, they will adjust their price matching policy to exclusively match their in store, app and Target.com pricing including Target Plus items.

That’s a big shift as Target currently matches pricing for identical qualifying items at Amazon and Walmart. Shoppers can request a price match at time of purchase or within 14 days after purchase.
