Santander has reduced rates across first-time buyers, home mover and remortgage fixed rates by up to 0.25%.

The reductions include Santander’s 98% loan-to-value (LTV), My First Mortgage product which is reducing by 0.25% to 5.60%.

Santander has also cut selected FTB three- and five-year fixed rates by as much as 0.25%.

Home mover rates across two-, three- and five-year fixes will be cut by up to 0.06%, 0.10% and 0.05% respectively.

New build home mover selected two-year fixes will be lowered by as much as 0.06%, selected three-year fixes will be reduced by up to 0.10% and selected five-year fixes will be trimmed by up to 0.05%.

In addition, new build FTB selected two-, three- and five-year fixes will be reduced by as much as 0.14%, 0.25% and 0.10% respectively.

Selected remortgage two- and five-year fixes will be lowered by as much as 0.13% and 0.10% respectively.

Santander’s will also launch a series of FTB products including a 95% LTV, three-year fixed with no fee and £250 cashback at 5.55%, a 85% LTV, two-year fixed with a £999 fee and £250 cashback at 4.80% and a 85% LTV, five-year fixed with no and £250 cashback at 4.98%.
