A Chase Freedom Flex refresh could be right around the corner. Earlier this month, it was reported that Chase would refresh the Freedom Flex later in September, with September 20 mentioned as the possible date.
Now there’s another sign that something is happening. A new Freedom Flex card design started appearing in the Chase app today, September 19. Multiple cardholders are reporting the updated artwork.
We already know about two changes taking effect September 20. Chase is eliminating the Freedom Flex’s foreign transaction fee, while the card’s cell phone protection benefit is going away. But since we’re seeing a new card design, there may be other changes in the works.
