Bilt Rewards has revealed details of is July Rent Day promotion. This month’s offers include a bonus on gift card redemptions, freebie at Bilt Cafe in NYC, and the usual Rent Day goodies such as double points for all your purchases and more.
As a reminder, Bilt Rewards is free to join. But to earn any considerable amount of points, you will need to get the Bilt Mastercard. This is a good option for renters since it lets you earn rewards on rent payments without fees—something most cards don’t allow—while also offering 3x points on dining, 2x on travel, and 1x on everything else with no annual fee. You can transfer these points 1:1 to top airline and hotel partners like Hyatt and Alaska, or use them for travel through Bilt’s portal, making the rewards highly flexible. It also includes valuable protections like cell phone insurance. There’s also an unadvertised 50,000 points bonus for new applicants.

Unique Offers for July Rent Day
As usual, Bilt offers something unique on the 1st of every month for Rent Day. This month’s offer is one of the worst we have seen, as it gives a value boost for redeeming points for gift cards. Points are worth 25% to 100% more when you redeem for 125+ gift card brands. The added value depends on your elite status:
- Bilt Blue: 25% bonus
- Bilt Silver: 50% bonus
- Bilt Gold: 75% bonus
- Bilt Platinum: 100% bonus
Normally you get a value of 0.7 cents per point when redeeming for gift cards, so even with the highest tier you’re getting 1.4 cents per point. Assuming that you can often buy most of these gift cards at a discount, that’s not a great redemptions, when you have the option of transferring to many travel partners.
This rent day you can also visit the Bilt Neighborhood Cafe at 31 Bond Street for a complimentary Pigs in a Blanket by NYC’s iconic American Bar—the perfect summer bite.
