The Risk & Insurance Education Alliance is proud to announce that Tiawanya S. Wiley, AIAM, Customer Experience Manager for Responsive Insurance in Naples, Florida, has been named the 2025 National Outstanding CSR of the Year.
Chosen from a distinguished field of 19 state winners, Tiawanya stood out for her deep commitment to client relationships and her forward-thinking approach to integrating technology in customer service. In her essay on balancing digital innovation with personal connection, she shared:
“When I first entered the industry, I spent hours processing and filing paperwork. But now, with automation taking care of routine tasks, I have more time to engage with clients. Whether it’s picking up the phone for a quick check-in or sending a personal email or handwritten Birthday or Sympathy card, these moments build trust and strengthen relationships. Technology shouldn’t replace personal connections; it should ENABLE them!”
Tiawanya will receive a $2,000 cash award, a gold and diamond lapel pin, and her name will be engraved on the Outstanding CSR of the Year sculpture displayed at the Risk & Insurance Education Alliance headquarters. Her employer, Responsive Insurance, will also receive a scholarship in her honor.
The Alliance also recognizes this year’s national finalists:
- Margaret Bleakney, CISR Elite, Amplified Insurance – Westwood, Massachusetts
- Kyle Derosier, Cross Insurance – Portland, Maine

- Jessica Parrott, CIC, CISR, CWCA, ACRA, The Insurance Market – Laurel, Delaware

Since its inception, the Outstanding CSR of the Year Award has celebrated the dedication, professionalism, and personal touch that define the best in customer service within the insurance industry.
