• As a welcome offer, earn an extra 120,000 Membership Rewards points after you spend $10,000 in purchases on the Card in the first three months of Card Membership.

To request an upgrade, you must be the Basic Card Member. To find this offer you will need to check your account, but there are also some (hacked/modified) links that are working for some people.

  • 5X Membership Rewards points for each dollar of eligible purchases made when you book on the American Express Travel website
  • 1.5X Points per dollar on

Important Tips

• When you upgrade, your card anniversary date doesn’t change. You will be charged a prorated annual membership fee for your new Card based on the time remaining until your next account anniversary date.
• Once you accept an upgrade offer, you must to keep the card for 12 months. The 12-month clock starts from the date you accept the offer, and is different from the anniversary date of you current card (Business Gold in this case).
• Taking an upgrade offer makes you ineligible for a signup bonus on the Amex Business Platinum card. So this offer is a good opportunity mainly for those who already have, or had the card in the past.
• You can take an upgrade offer even within the first year of your current business credit card.

This Amex Business Platinum 120K upgrade offer is a great opportunity to earn a upgrade bonus that is actually comparable to some of the welcome offers on the Amex Business Platinum Card. There’s no hard pull when upgrading and you can also receive the upgrade bonus even if you’ve had the card previously.

We have seen better upgrade offers in the past, for as high as 140,000 or even 180,000 points. But this is still a good opportunity, especially if you are still working on a welcome bonus for an Amex Business Gold Card.
