Iconic names who have made a memorable impact at the Adrian Flux Arena have been honoured by the creation of a jaw-dropping mural at the motorsport venue.
Well-known figures from the world of speedway, banger racing and stock cars feature in the stunning street art created to celebrate 10 years of us sponsoring the King’s Lynn stadium. In a touching tribute, the name of three dearly departed icons adorn the artwork which has been created on the outside of the home of racing in Norfolk.

Who features on the new mural at the Adrian Flux Arena?
We set up a deal for the naming rights of the venue known as Norfolk Arena in 2015. However, the story of the Saddlebow Road stadium is much longer, having been built in 1951.
Stock car and banger racing were the first motorsports to thrill punters on the terraces before Maurice Littlechild brought speedway, a form of two-wheel racing on shale, to the town in 1965.
It only seemed right for his name to appear somewhere and plenty of fans agreed when we asked them who deserved a place in the artwork.
Three other pivotal figures who haven’t raced at the venue were also included: speedway guru Keith ‘Buster’ Chapman, who has been promoter of the Stars for more than 30 years, legendary speedway announcer and popular BBC commentator Edwin Overland and Track Star Racing co-promoter Paul Butler. The latter pair sadly died in 2024.
One of the Stars’ greatest-ever riders, Terry Betts, multiple world stock car title-winner Mat Newson and banger racing hero Nicky ‘Spud’ Young take centre stage on the piece, which champions all forms of motorsport that feature in Lynn.
Who created the mural at the home of the King’s Lynn Stars?
We commissioned MurWalls to show off their talents with two separate pieces of work to spruce up the stadium – one being the showcase mural and the other proudly displaying our logo.
They have gained widespread praise for a number of headline-grabbing pieces of work, including a tribute to Liverpool football player Diogo Jota who died alongside his brother in a car accident and a piece on musician Ed Sheeran who supports Ipswich Town Football Club.

Their beautiful work took roughly two days to finish with staff at the Arena having helped prep the walls before they arrived in West Norfolk.
