Upgrade United Gateway Card to Explorer with 15K Bonus
Select United Gateway cardholders have an offer to upgrade to the United Explorer Card and earn 15,000 bonus miles. This offer was sent out by email.
If targeted, you just need to upgrade your card and make your first purchase by December 31, 2025.
The United Explorer Card now has an annual fee of $150 while the United Gateway Card has no annual fee at all. The Explorer card offers more benefits like Global Entry/TSA PreCheck credit, and United Club passes and several credits for rideshare, Instacart and United.
