Pepper Rewards App Service Interruption
The Pepper Rewards app is having some major issues of the last few days.
They have dropped rates for many merchants, you can’t even buy some brands (Amazon, Sam’s Club, Home Depot) and even if you are able to buy gift cards, there’s a good chance that it will not get delivered. Those who have points in the app, are not able to redeem them for gift card purchases either.
The app shows a “Service Interruption” message when you first open it. It suggests that this is just a temporary issue, but hopefully is just that.
For now I would advise to not purchase any gift cards at all from Pepper. And if you have purchased in recent days and have not received them, then try disputing the credit card charge with your credit card issuer. Pepper Rewards customer service will not be very helpful.
If you still have not used gift cards that you have purchased from Pepper, then it would be smart to use them right asway if you can. Or at least make sure to take screenshots of gift card information and balances.
