Rove Introduces “Match Your Mesa” to Help Cardholders Recover Lost Points
Following the recent shutdown of Mesa, many cardholders were left without access to the points they had earned. The trick to transfer your points out is no longer working I think, but it may be worth a try.
Today, Rove is announcing Match Your Mesa, a limited-time program designed to help former Mesa members get back in the air. Through Match Your Mesa, eligible former Mesa users can match their Mesa points balance to Rove Miles, up to 5,000 miles per person. Once credited, Rove Miles can be redeemed for travel, including flights, hotels, and transfers to 13 hotel and airline partners.
Unlike traditional card-issued points, Rove Miles aren’t tied to a single bank or credit card. Members earn miles through travel bookings, shopping, and referrals. These can then be transferred or redeemed for travel, giving them flexibility even when card programs change.
Program details:
- Open to verified former Mesa members
- Mesa balances matched 1:1 in Rove Miles, up to 5,000 miles per user
- Total promotion capped at 2 million miles
- Miles post within two weeks of verification
- New Rove users can get an additional 500 Rove Miles when they sign up.
More details and the submission form are available at Match Your Mesa.
Guru’s Wrap-up
I would do this right away since the promotion is limited to a total of 2 million miles.
